About

Emily Gallagher and Austin Elston collaborated back in 2005 to create Born Lucky Studios, a boutique video production and post-production house. We are your editors as well as your video production crew, and thus we have the unique perspective to see your project through from start to finish. We have been working in the industry for over 6 years, and have been collaborating on projects together for 12.

We shoot and edit everything: national TV ads for non-profits, award-winning environmental documentaries for the Nature Conservancy and Nickelodeon, television shows for National Geographic, Democratic political ads, web videos for Self Magazine and amazing local artisans, live music concerts, and of course, music videos for this nation’s finest under-appreciated bands.

We shoot on the RED camera and Canon 7D, capture audio on the top of the line Sound Device mixer and recorder, and edit on two Final Cut Pro / AVID edit suites. We always keep the end product in mind every step of the way.

We believe that the environment on set and in post is a major factor to both producing a great product and having a fantastic experience making it. Austin and I always focus on creating a No-Stress, super fun, ultra-creative and efficient work environment.
